बंदगी से गमी भी खुशी हो गयी
दिल की बंजर जमीं पर उगा इक खियाल
आँखें'
बहने लगीं फिर नदी हो गयी
एक जुगनू ने देखा अँधेरा वहां
फूस के घर में भी रोशनी हो गयी
दर्द सहते हुए ढल गयी उम्र ये
ज़िंदगी इस लिए अनमनी हो गयी
